Brienia to become Pavlov's associated state

The Kingdom of Brienia became an associated state of Pavlov this evening, as the Treaty of Ivanstone was signed by Emperor Alexander IV, may the Almighty God bless his reign, and King Ivan. According to the document, citizens of Brienia shall be elegible for Pavlovian citizenship; the Empire of Pavlov undertakes to defend the well-being of the Kingdom of Brienia and its sovereignty in case of foreign aggression, as well as represent and speak on behalf of Brienia if requested by the Government. The treaty also envisages the elimination of border control between the countries, implementation of a joint political, cultural and social sphere.

The Kingdom of Brienia was officially declared on 2 February 2018 by the Ivan Brienovich claiming some lands in Croatia. In recent days, numerous members of the Royal Council, the legislature of Brienia, tried to force a progressivist agenda in the micronation, which went against the wishes of her founder. HIH Grand Prince Jaroslav then volunteered to help restore order in the Kingdom. After order was restored, the two Monarchs of Pavlov and Brienia respectively discussed the status of associated state, and the treaty of Ivanstone was formed.
