The Empire of Pavlov is a social and cultural project which seeks to model the society, customs, and traditions of the medieval Slavic principalities and the Roman Empire in a contemporary framing. The standards of what is and isn't acceptable were drastically different in the era that Pavlov is modeled after, and many of today's societal concepts didn't exist at all. More in the Disclaimer.

Sovereign Emperor passes edict to appoint Heads of Government

31 May 7528 AM

His Imperial Majesty Emperor Alexander IV - may the almighty God bless his reign - issued the Edict of Theodosia by which he normalised the Governance of the realm after the proclamation of the revitalisation of the Empire yesterday.

The Edict first of all re-recognized Yaroslav Mar, as the adopted son of HIM Emperor Alexander IV (MAGBHR), a fact already established in early 2016. It then continues on appointing to the Zemli, Uyezds, Towns and Manors their hereditary landed nobles.

Following that, the Edict grants 6 peerages to individuals who have greatly worked on restoring the Empire in the last weeks. The title of Sebastokrator - a senior court title under the Komnenoi - was granted to two friendly Monarchs, namely to HS Prince Edward of all Ashukovs and HM King Ivan of Brienia. Finally it appointed the current seven Senators and made HS Prince Krystofor Slavomyrovych Drakonov & HI Count Eduard Robertovych Gunderov the Consuls (joint Head of Governments) for the year 2020 (Gregorian).
