The Empire of Pavlov is a social and cultural project which seeks to model the society, customs, and traditions of the medieval Slavic principalities and the Roman Empire in a contemporary framing. The standards of what is and isn't acceptable were drastically different in the era that Pavlov is modeled after, and many of today's societal concepts didn't exist at all. More in the Disclaimer.

Imperial Commission for the Rewriting of History formed

26 July 7528 AM

His Imperial Majesty Alexander IV, Defender of the Faith, Turtle and Elephants, may the Almighty God bless his reign, gave Imperial Assent to an Act of Senate motioned by Grand Prince Jaroslav Aleksandrovych, establishing the Imperial Commission for the Rewriting of History: a scientific organization charged with providing alternative historical facts and giving them an accurate Pavlovian interpretation. The Act is motivated by a necessity to "avoid the misrepresentation of history in an unorthodox way".

The Commission, headed by His Imperial Majesty, will initially consist of Grand Prince Jaroslav Aleksandrovych and Despot Ivan Brienskiy; however, its composition may be amended at the discretion of the Emperor at any time.

The State Gazette approached HIH Grand Prince Jaroslav Aleksandrovych with a request to comment on his reasons for proposing the Act. "We mistakenly think that history is an objective reality, yet nothing could be farther from truth. The past doesn't exist outside our present perception and with this Act, we but honestly admit that history is a study of the previous misinterpretations." — said the Grand Prince.
